Welcome!

Here at Wildscribe Writers, journaling isn’t just about writing. It’s also about going deep and listening – to your thoughts, your dreams and your deeper self. It’s about creating a space to slow down, check in, get clarity and design a life you love to live.

Your journal is where you can meet yourself on the page, connect with your intuition and inner wisdom and doodle, dawdle, ramble, whinge, dream big, create visions and clear your mind.

Whether you’re exploring journaling for the first time or rekindling an old practice, you’re in the right place to find inspiring prompts and thoughtful resources to support you every step of the way.

I’ve been journaling on and off for over 20 years, since I first discovered Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way and adopted the habit of morning pages.

Sometimes it was a positive experience where I used my journal to set intentions and successfully manifest the outcomes I wanted in life. Other times, when I was feeling stuck, it was a place to vent, release the emotions that were troubling me, gain clarity on what was clouding my judgement and work my way out of confusion and overwhelm.

After lockdown, I started exploring journaling and therapeutic writing more deeply. As I navigated my way through bereavement, multiple house moves and a relocation to London, I felt I needed more than morning pages to help steady my ship.

I trained as a Creative Arts Therapies Practitioner and also studied Therapeutic & Reflective Writing with the Professional Writing Academy. As I discovered more about the powerful benefits of journaling, I did further training and qualified as a Journal Therapy Coach and Narrative Therapy Practitioner.

Journaling is an amazing way to document your life, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop your intuition to guide yourself through life’s big chapters and transitions. It’s a powerful tool to boost health and wellbeing, and a great way to calm your nervous system to release the stress of a busy life.

Morning pages are still a regular part of my practice – I love the stream-of-consciousness freedom to dump my thoughts onto the page, but I’m also exploring more structured forms of journaling using guided prompts, as well as developing my creative journaling skills to incorporate art and imagery into my practice.

I hope you’ll come and join me!
